Sara Rosenbaum inaugurated the Department of Health Policy and Management's Health Policy Experts Series on January 17 with a talk titled "The ACA in the 115th Congress: Starting the Repeal and Replace Discussion." A YouTube video of the talk is available here.
The session looked at the policy underpinnings of U.S. health insurance system and the key structural reforms in this system made by the ACA in terms of the accessibility, affordability, and scope of coverage. It also reviewed what were expected to be the emerging elements of “repeal” and “replace” in the context of ACA Titles I and II, the public and private health insurance reforms.
