The GW Health Workforce Institute (GWHWI) hosted a conference titled, “Health Workforce Needs in a Time of Transformation,” on May 3, 2017. The invitation-only conference brought together close to 50 policymakers and researchers interested in workforce changes.
Research supported by HRSA over the last three years was presented by Health Research Workforce Centers at GW, SUNY Albany, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, University of California San Francisco, University of Michigan, and the University of Washington. The GW team synthesized 70 studies conducted by these centers in the report: Health Workforce Research Centers Key Findings, 2013-2016.
