District of Columbia Health Benefits Exchange Authority Working Group Being Chaired by HPM Professor

Professor Leighton Ku is chairing a working group for the District of Columbia Health Benefits Exchange Authority that will develop proposals to safeguard and strengthen the District’s health insurance exchange in light of potential administrative or legislative threats.  He also testified to the Maryland Legislative Health Insurance Coverage Protection Commission, a body that is considering similar issues in Maryland, focusing on his recent research about the possible economic consequences of efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
